Shamik Chakraborty is an entrepreneur with thirteen plus years of experience in areas such as new business development, Oracle partner alliance management, management consulting leadership, client relationship management, target achievement, investment trends and industry experience in areas such as Communication, Media & Entertainment, High Tech, Clean Tech and Utilities.
From master data management perspective, he is focused in areas around Data Governance, Enterprise master data management (MDM) framework and implementation methodology, compliance advisory and related. Specialize in Customer/Product/Location/Financial Hub, cleansing strategy, multi language global MDM project management, analyst relationship and so forth.
To give some background about his past work, as a CxO level advisor, he has established Oracle technology business for a Big four consulting firm in North America which was recognized by Forrester for creating a unique revenue generating model among top ten global system integrators.
He is known as a public speaker and has published papers in conferences. In 2009, He has been invited to present his business model to EMEA Oracle Sales team. His business model has been successfully replicated by his previous employer (big four) in EMEA and APAC.
He holds a BS in Physics and a B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics. He is currently pursuing his MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
